Two Cannes Silver Lions for Sun Sound

24.06.10

Cannes

As of Wednesday, Sun Sound for the Cancer Council had picked up Silver Lions in both the Direct and PR categories. Congratulations to all who had a hand in making the Sun Sound a reality, including of course our clients at the Cancer Council.

With a rollout to many more beaches, parks and festival events this summer, the Sun Sound will become synonymous with sun protection, and the long term benefits in reducing skin cancer in Australia will be huge!

Annual AWGIE Award

Episode 4 Invisible Fault Lines has been nominated at the 43rd Annual AWGIE Awards to be held on 20 August in Melbourne.

In case you’ve never heard of an AWGIE (likely), here’s what they are:

They are awards which are given for the script alone, recognising that everything starts with the written word. AWG President Tim Pye says: ‘Every year, the AWGIE Awards recognise and reward the best of Australia’s performance writers for their contribution to the screen and theatre industries. Often, scriptwriters are the quiet achievers. The AWGIES are a great opportunity for writers to make some real noise and to come together to celebrate the highest standard in Australian scriptwriting.”

It’s a great honour for Tim Bullock, Justin Drape and Scott Nowell to be recognised, so keep your fingers etc crossed for August.
